To celebrate today’s National Dog Day, Extra Butter announces its latest adidas collaboration that’s inspired by man’s best friend.
The New York City-based sneaker shop uses the adidas Consortium CSG 91 as the model that was originally introduced back in 1993 as part of the brand’s EQT series. The dog-inspired collab sports a muted and wearable palette of Light Browns, Tans, Beige and Neutral Pink. The elevated fabrication of hairy suede and faux pony hair eludes to fur and hair coats of dogs, while additional bone and paw graphic details on the lace jewel and heel soft cell window put the finishing touches to drive the concept.
Extra Butter’s adidas CSG 01 collab takes part of this year’s 30th Anniversary celebration of the brand’s popular EQT line with other notable retailers from around the globe also expected to release collaborative EQT sneakers throughout Fall/Winter.
