END. Clothing and adidas are hitting the terraces again with the Gazelle “Grass Roots”.

With a design inspired by pub culture and Newcastle United’s throwback kits, the shoe’s deep black and teal colorway echoes classic match-day attire. Features like knit mesh side panels, suede overlays and co-branded detail on the tongue offer an authentic vintage look. Plus, for Newcastle United diehards, those details call back to Newcastle’s 1983–1988 crest.

Coordinating apparel (complete with track jackets and tees) round out the capsule, with a style that lives right at home in the streetwear-meets-vintage scene. All that said, its most memorable details are a callback to that special “third place” fans go to talk football: the local pub. A look close enough to the eye will catch the details sneakerheads will be geeking out on the most.
