Edison Chen has offered an early look at what appears to be the upcoming CLOT x adidas Mundial, and the collaboration already shows a clear shift in direction for the classic silhouette. Instead of the model’s usual radial toe detailing, this version appears to weave CLOT branding into the etched leather, giving the upper a more distinct identity while still preserving the Mundial’s heritage roots.

Natural cork accents bring another layer of texture to the design and push the shoe deeper into lifestyle territory without losing its football DNA. That contrast works especially well against the black leather base, while the espadrille-inspired tooling adds an unexpected twist that separates this pair from a standard adidas Mundial release.

Official images have now surfaced, offering a better look at the shoe’s terrace-inspired setup. The latest studio shots confirm Trefoil-branded traction underneath, along with the espadrille sole previously seen in teaser images. Altogether, the design continues the layered approach CLOT has used on past projects, mixing classic construction with fashion-minded details that give familiar models a different edge.

Release details for the CLOT x adidas Mundial have not been announced yet. Adidas also has not confirmed an official launch date, so this remains an early preview for now. More information is expected to surface in the coming months as adidas and Edison Chen reveal the collaboration in full.
