Converse will be joining the NBA All-Star weekend festivities in Charlotte with two brand new collaborations on the ERX 260. One pair was designed by Don C and the other by TheSoloist’s Takahiro Miyashita.
The Don C x Converse ERX 260 is inspired by the Charlotte Hornets. It features a White leather upper accented with Teal and Purple accents. Additional details includes iridescent paneling on the ankle collar and heel completed with a Chevron logo mixed with a jewel star on each panel. “CONS” branding finishes things off displayed on the tongue and lateral ankle.
Takahiro Miyashita’s TheSoloist x Converse ERX 260 is inspired by two American subcultures, rock music and basketball. It comes with an all-Black leather and suede upper, a removable zipper guard atop a translucent outsole with graphics that read, “Hello, Hello, Hello, I Am The Soloist.” “I Am The Soloist” is also stitched on the tongues in White.
Look for Don C’s Converse ERX 260 to release on February 15th via Nike SNKRS, followed by a release on February 16th at The Mint and House of Hoops in Charlotte. Miyashita’s pair will release exclusively at Social Status on February 16th. Both retail for $150 USD.
