Don C and Converse are set to release the ERX 260 for All-Star Weekend in Charlotte, dressed in a Hornets-like White, Court Purple, and Bold Jade color scheme.
Created to mark this iconic moment for Charlotte, the streetwear designer and basketball enthusiast takes cues from the host city’s colors and pays homage to the players that inspired him, bringing the pearls back with hits of iridescence to create a commemorative sneaker.
There will also be an all-Black pair designed by Takahiro Miyashita’s TheSoloist inspired by two American subcultures, rock music and basketball. It comes crafted in a mix of leather and suede, a removable zipper guard atop a translucent outsole with graphics that read, “Hello, Hello, Hello, I Am The Soloist.” “I Am The Soloist” is also stitched on the tongues in White.
