Vault by Vans welcomes Nigeran-American artist Ade Okuboyejo to the family with a new collaboration inspired by Ade’s childhood growing up in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Titled “Forever Sunny in Ikoyi”, the collection is an homage to Okuboyejo’s childhood and culture growing up in Lagos, made in collaboration with Vault by Vans under his Brooklyn-based label, Dobale. A head-to-toe collection of footwear, apparel and accessories, “Forever Sunny in Ikoyi” is a celebration of joyful expression and cherished nostalgia imbued with color, print and graphics.

The color palette is derived from the sunny disposition of his home country, along with colors inspired by the rich foods, surrounding land and the Lagos State Flag. The footwear assortment includes the Bold NI in tri-tone vintage suede, pigskin, and canvas; the Slip-On decorated with colorful suede binding and a hand-drawn sun graphic; and the Era with a custom-printed canvas upper inspired by a favorite hometown dish, Efo.

An 8-piece apparel collection complements the footwear range, including hero pieces like the Satin Flight Jacket, Vault x Dobale Trackpants, and the Efo Woven Shirt.
