Daniëlle Cathari and New Balance are back again with the 991v2 “Reverse Matcha.”

Continuing the original series theme, the name is a dead giveaway here as the primary color schemes are reversed from the original 991v2 “Matcha.” Swap the brown suede for a luscious matcha green mesh and the color story is new and unexpected; definitely grounded with a luxe touch. The unmistakable white/khaki/black sole unit grounds it in familiarity and ties it back to the beloved Made in England construction.

Daniëlle Cathari has once again infused a subtle minimal aesthetic that is her signature mix of Amsterdam cool with New Balance’s traditionalist approach. It’s not a re-engineered silhouette or huge transformation, but that’s what makes it so great. Small tweaks, precise craftsmanship and narrative.

The Daniëlle Cathari x New Balance 991v2 “Reverse Matcha” raffle begins Tuesday, October 28th on the Kith App and ending Thursday, October 30th. A limited release will be available on October 31st at 11AM EST through Kith locations, the Kith App and Kith.com.
