adidas Originals has officially revealed their latest collaborative project with American artist Daniel Arsham. For this release, they use the adidas New York silhouette in a Chalk White colorway making them perfect for the summer days.

For this release, the shoe stays true to its original 80s blueprint with a number of stylistic updates. Arsham’s collaborative shoe goes with a minimalist approach, using a rugged construction. Like mush of his previous are work, there are messages within the shoe’s design like the phone number on the leather heel patch is a nod to the earlier campaign from adidas and Arsham. But the highlight of the shoe is its invisible print on the midsole that reads, “THE PAST IS PRESENT”, which is only visible when viewed under Ultra Violet light, complimented by UV-sensitive stitching on the Three Stripes.

Look for the Daniel Arsham x adidas New York to release on July 22nd in extremely limited quantities at select adidas retailers. The retail price tag is set at $180 USD.
