Nike SB has joined forces with the College Skateboarding Educational Foundation (CSEF) to introduce a unique Nike SB Dunk Low, set to release in Summer 2025. This marks a significant partnership celebrating skateboarding’s cultural impact while supporting educational opportunities for skaters.
The CSEF, founded in 2018, is the first scholarship program exclusively dedicated to skateboarders in the U.S. It provides financial assistance to student skaters, bridging the gap between their passions and academic aspirations. The collaboration with Nike SB reflects this mission, incorporating educational and skateboarding themes into the design.
The CSEF x Nike SB Dunk Low features a vibrant mix of green, black, white, and yellow. Its construction blends patent leather, smooth leather, suede, and mesh for a premium look and feel. Details like the CSEF branding on the heel, a scantron-inspired tongue label, and a custom midfoot graphic give the shoe a distinctive identity. The combination of materials and colors pays homage to skateboarding culture while nodding to the academic aspirations of skaters nationwide.

Nike SB’s latest Dunk Low blends skate culture with an academic twist, showcasing creative school-themed details throughout. It features a white leather upper that wears down to reveal an eraser pink layer, paired with a black suede toe, grey suede collar, and glossy black patent Swoosh. A tri-color outsole in yellow, green, and pink mimics a #2 pencil. The education-inspired design continues with a Scantron-style tongue tag, tassel lace charm, and CSEF’s graduation logo on the heel. It also includes three lace options: black with yellow tips, eraser pink, and pencil yellow with emerald green aglets.
Inside, the sneaker reveals hidden graphics like a broken pencil fence on the insole and a flaming graduation cap on the Zoom Air unit. Adding a final touch, under the tongue reads, “University of Nike SB Skateboarders teach the world,” tying together the academic concept with Nike SB’s storytelling approach.
