Sneakers have come a long way and for those that thought just using paint and customizing your own Air Jordans was good enough, think again.

Chicago native Daniel Jacob is an emerging artist whose works in crystal create wonder and amazement. For his latest art piece, he took the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette and transformed them by using crystals on classic colorways as well as an all-Gold pair. The Gold version was designed by using more than 140,000 Swarovski crystals, all individually set by hand.
