Taking cues from classic Converse styles, the result is a contemporary look designed to be distorted. (The upper, for example, is ripe for remixing — as JW Anderson has already proved during his Spring 2019 London runway show). What will remain constant is the Run Star’s hallmark feature: An unapologetic, big and bold EVA midsole finished with a rubber heel wrap and instantly recognizable Star.
