The upper features designs inspired by the tradition of reading coffee grounds. Both shoes feature a “sana sana” lace keeper, an encouraging Latino saying.

Converse invites fans to personalize their shoes on Converse.com using “Mi Gente By You.” Customization options draw from Latino folklore, offering graphics inspired by healing, protection, and premonition.

The limited-edition “Mi Gente” Standard GRX Tee echoes the healing botanical theme, while the Loose GRX Tee blends cherished symbols and gems from Latino American culture, symbolizing security. The color palette and embroidery create a unique, meaningful piece.

In a significant move, CONS skateboarder Erik Herrera stars in his first major Converse campaign alongside his first-generation Latino American family, emphasizing the importance of community and cultural roots.
