Converse CONS Weapon “Remastered”

Today, CONVERSE Inc. announces the launch of the new Converse CONS Weapon sneaker, a modern interpretation of the classic silhouette, enhanced with new and improved design details that deliver a bold and edgy look. The Converse CONS Weapon is the latest addition to the Converse CONS Weapon portfolio, including the CONS Weapon Skate, Reflective Mesh, Patchwork and Ray Pack that all launched throughout the summer.

The new Converse CONS Weapon, inspired by the original Weapon design, is refined and re-mastered with a lighter last and a slimmer midsole for both style and functionality. New features include an internal Y-Bar with memory foam for enhanced cushion and fit, as well as a plush marbled EVA sockliner. Added perforations also provide increased breathability throughout the sneaker.

On the exterior of the new Converse CONS Weapon, the iconic Star Chevron logo and external Y-bar stay true to the design DNA of the original Weapon, but have been modernized. The Star Chevron logo on the top and bottom of the upper were updated, as well as the external Y-bar to balance the improved upper construction.

The new Converse CONS Weapon sneaker is available in a selection of classic varsity colors including Black/White, Black/Purple, Red/Blue, White and Black. The sneaker collection is available for purchase starting on Thursday, Aug. 21 at Converse retailers and on Converse.com/CONS for a suggested retail price of $85 USD.
