The Air Jordan 16 is one of those models that kind of grew on you as the years went on. When they first debuted not many sneakerheads welcomed them as much as low-numbered releases, but if you ask me the Air Jordan 16 is an underrated silhouette.
Air Jordan 16 “Cherrywood”
One of the releases that debuted in 2001 was the Air Jordan 16 “Cherrywood” colorway, which released on June 2nd, 2001 and retailed for $160. They were dressed in a mixture of Whisper White, Cherrywood and Light Graphite color scheme.
Air Jordan 16 “Ginger”
Another release in 2001 was the Air Jordan 16 “Ginger” colorway, which released on November 24th, 2001 and retailed for $160. This release was dressed in a Light Ginger, Dark Charcoal and White color scheme.
With Jordan Brand set to have one of their biggest years for releases in 2015, is this the best time to bring back a few Air Jordan 16 Retro colorways? To make things even better, how about just make them part of the upcoming Air Jordan Remastered Releases.
Let us know what you guys think in the comments section and which pair would you rather see retro, the “Cherrywood” or “Ginger” Air Jordan 16?
