Comme des Garçons made a major statement at Paris Fashion Week by introducing the first-ever Air Jordan 11 collaboration, showing both an all-black and an all-white version. Now, the brand is keeping that momentum going as its CDG Black label prepares to roll out a new collaborative release for the Spring/Summer 2026 season.

The COMME des GARÇONS BLACK x Nike LD-1000 “Spirit Pink” revisits a silhouette that has lived most of its life in the background. The LD-1000 came from a time when Nike was still defining what a performance runner could be, and bringing it back now feels thoughtful rather than nostalgic for nostalgia’s sake.

The black mesh upper sets a restrained foundation, with suede at the toe and heel giving the shoe structure and depth. Spirit Pink appears only where it matters most, coating the Swoosh and midsole in a way that feels deliberate and precise. It adds personality without overpowering the design, keeping the balance intact. White laces and the waffle outsole anchor the shoe in its running heritage.

Branding stays almost invisible. Aside from the Swoosh, collaboration details are hidden inside on the insoles. That restraint is very much in line with CDG BLACK’s design language and suggests a shift toward collaborations that value control over excess.

The COMME des GARÇONS BLACK x Nike LD-1000 “Spirit Pink” is expected to release Summer 2026 through CDG locations and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $110 USD.
