Concepts and New Balance are reigniting their partnership with the highly anticipated release of the CNCPTS x New Balance 1000 in 2025. Known for their creative storytelling, Concepts once again draws from monetary themes, following the legacy of their 2013 CNCPTS x New Balance 998 “C-Note”, which paid homage to the $100 bill redesign.
This time, Concepts takes inspiration from the discontinued $1000 bill, a nod to exclusivity and rarity. Teased by Concepts creative director Deon Point, the upcoming project features four distinct green-toned colorways. Each pair showcases unique material blends and design approaches.
A standout version combines mesh, leather, and suede for a layered, textured look, while another pair opts for a sleeker leather toe box. Two white-accented iterations also appear, each offering varied material compositions. While it remains unclear which pairs will officially release and which may be Friends & Family exclusives or samples, anticipation is building for the final lineup.
The CNCPTS x New Balance 1000 is expected to release on March 14, 2025 through Concepts’ online store and physical locations. Sneaker fans can expect more details in the coming months.

UPDATE 3/10/25: Concepts (CNCPTS) and New Balance continue their currency-inspired sneaker collaborations with the CNCPTS x New Balance 1000 “Míle.” Drawing inspiration from the rare $1000 banknote, the shoe features a dominant green colorway with hot pink accents, reflecting the bill’s red seal. The release also ties into Chicago’s bank heist history and St. Patrick’s Day traditions.
The raffle for the CNCPTS x New Balance 1000 “Míle” begins on Wednesday, March 12, at 12 PM EST, with winners collecting their pairs on Friday, March 14, at 11 AM EST at CNCPTS locations in Boston, New York, and Miami. A first-come, first-served release will also take place online at cncpts.com on the same day.
