The Caroline Hu x CLOT x adidas Samba combines the classic Samba design with Hu’s vibrant and feminine style. Known for her whimsical creations under her brand, Reverie by Caroline Hu, this marks her debut in ready-to-wear fashion. The venture follows her praised showcase at the CLOT Spring/Summer 2024 Fashion Show in Shanghai.

Inspired by CLOT’s acclaimed “HUA REN” collection, which celebrates Chinese culture, Hu worked with her friend, artist Rao Chen, to create unique prints featuring Chinese-style flora and fauna. These intricate designs adorn the sneakers, turning them into wearable artworks. The collection also includes t-shirts, crocheted tops, and pleated skirts, blending traditional Chinese themes with contemporary fashion.

“The collaboration has been a great opportunity,” Hu remarked, “to revisit Chinese elements in my designs. This is best expressed through the vibrant colors and detailed prints.”
