Brain Dead, Disney, and adidas have taken the Predator well beyond its soccer roots for their World Cup Collection. The familiar upper is still there, but the thick boot sole, black leather build, and cartoon-inspired details turn it into something made for the street rather than the pitch.
Rubberized studs run across the toe box and side panels, carrying over one of the Predator’s most recognizable design cues. White Three Stripes cut through the black upper, while matching laces and a fold-over tongue keep the football influence easy to spot.
Above all else, the sole distinguishes the shoe. Instead of the traditional cupsole, adidas employs a hefty, welted platform that looks and feels like a work boot. As a result, the Predator adopts a far beefier silhouette. You’ll find it closer to Dr. Martens than the slipper-like soccer shoes that have dominated lifestyle sneakers as of late.
Brain Dead and Disney bring the character element through a set of custom enamel pins attached to the folded tongue. The small hits of color stand out against the mostly black design without taking over the shoe.
The Brain Dead x Disney x adidas World Cup Collection releases June 29, 2026, through adidas and select retailers online and in stores. The Predator will come in unisex sizing for $200, with apparel priced between $25 and $200.
