Bode and Nike are set to expand their collaboration with fresh colorways of the Astrograbber, dropping in Spring 2025. Originally designed by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman in the 1970s for synthetic turf sports, the Astrograbber made its comeback in 2024. Now, it returns with new life.

Unveiled during the Bode Rec. Spring 2025 fashion show at the GQ Bowl in New Orleans, the collection features two standout styles. The first is a vibrant ‘Chlorophyll’ green leather version, adding a bold splash of color perfect for spring. The second is an all-black mesh design, offering a sleek, versatile look suitable for any occasion.

These designs maintain the vintage silhouette with modern materials and details that honor Nike’s rich heritage while embracing contemporary fashion. Both pairs feature classic black Nike Swooshes and durable rubber outsoles for everyday wear.

Bode Nike Astrograbber 2025 Release Date

The Bode x Nike Astrograbber in ‘Chlorophyll’ and ‘Black Mesh’ will be available in March 2025. Expect them to drop on bode.com, at select retailers, and on Nike.com. Each pair will retail for $160 USD.

UPDATE 3/9/25: Bode and Nike are releasing two new Astrograbber colorways.

The “Green” pair, inspired by Bill Bowerman’s hand-dyed waffle joggers, will be a Bode exclusive, launching March 14th at Bode’s website and retail locations in Los Angeles, New York, and Paris.

The “Black” colorway drops the same day at Bode, with a wider release on March 21st via SNKRS and select retailers.

The campaign, featuring Ja’Marr Chase, was shot in New Orleans ahead of the runway debut. Chase praised the collection’s vintage appeal, noting it elevates the brands’ partnership.
