Led from Houston Texas, The Better Generation project gives adidas Predator Sala a local soccer legacy that speaks directly to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The “Grassroots” name does most of the explaining. This release looks at soccer from the ground up — neighborhood games, small-sided play, local creatives, and the communities that build culture long before it reaches a global audience.

Each shoe is individually numbered 1/1248, which is the predicted number of competitors to compete at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Better Generation added another 26 artists that were used for the collectibles themselves, a nod to roster sizes used for competition at 26 players.

The rollout remains rooted in Houston. After appearing at a Houston Dynamo FC match earlier this month, The Better Generation will continue the campaign on June 20 with a local soccer tournament, penalty kick competition, jersey customization station, and watch party.

You can grab the Better Generation x adidas Predator Sala “Grassroots” starting June 20, 2026, both in-store and on The Better Generation’s website. With unisex sizing available, you’ll find the Tier 1 box for $130, Tier 2 for $175, and the Tier 3 pack at $299.
