For the BAPE STA’s 25th anniversary, BAPE put together three ComplexCon 2026 exclusives that each take the shoe in a different direction. One is based on the past, one on the present, and one on the future. All three will be available at Booth G41 in Los Angeles.
The “Past” version is easy to spot. Cracked silver leather covers the upper, while the midsole has been heavily aged to give the shoe the look of an older pair that has already seen years of wear.
Black leather takes over the “Present” BAPE STA, with oversized metallic silver STA logos running along the sides. It is the most familiar-looking pair of the three and sticks closer to the shape and styling people already associate with the model.
The “Future” pair pushes things further. Metallic silver leather is used across much of the upper, but the main detail is the shark mouth cutting across the lateral STA logo. Eye graphics appear around the heel as another nod to BAPE’s long-running visual language.
BAPE will also have 25 archival BAPE STA releases on display during ComplexCon, giving the anniversary setup some history beyond the new pairs. A 25th anniversary apparel collection will be available too, including hoodies featuring graphics based on older BAPE STA releases.
The BAPE STA 25th Anniversary “Past,” “Present,” and “Future” colorways release at BAPE Booth G41 during ComplexCon 2026 in Los Angeles on October 3 and October 4, 2026.
