BAPE and New Balance are teaming up to release a collaborative take on 2002R model for the Spring 2021 season.

This BAPE x New Balance collab appears to include two color options of the New Balance 2002R. One sports a Multicolored color blocking with BAPE’s signature camouflage at the collar along with the familiar shark teeth motif. The second pair includes a similar design in a more muted colorway.

BAPE New Balance 2002R Release Date

Look for the BAPE x New Balance 2002R to release first in China on June 5th at the New Balance Grey store and selected 1906 locations.

UPDATE 5/14: A Bathing Ape announces that its New Balance “Apes Together Strong” collection releases first in China on June 5th at the New Balance Grey store and selected 1906 locations. A global launch will take place soon after.

UPDATE 3/19: David Gibson, New Balance’s product manger, shares detailed photos of the Bape x New Balance 2002R in its Green colorway. A release date for both styles have yet to be announced.
