Back in 2024, the Manhunt gave BAPE a new moccasin-style shoe built around a thick ripple sole. The model is returning with a Tabi Toe update, adding a split front while leaving most of that original shape alone.

Most of the upper is done in deep navy suede, with the center broken up by rough woven panels and frayed edges. Bits of lighter fabric and geometric patterning show through underneath, and the placement is different from one shoe to the other. It is a small detail, but it keeps the pair from looking too uniform.

The rest stays pretty restrained. Navy rope laces blend into the upper, stitching wraps the toe, and BAPE branding is stamped near the heel. Light contrast stitching also shows up around the back of the collar.

A thick off-white ripple sole sits underneath and gives the shoe the same heavy profile as the original Manhunt. The deep grooves are especially noticeable from the side and add some contrast without taking attention away from the upper.

The BAPE Manhunt Tabi Toe releases in Japan on September 5, 2026. A U.S. release has yet to be announced.
