Kith will be the worldwide exclusive launch partner for Balenciaga’s new Runner silhouette. Balenciaga has issued 650 preview models across three colorways that will be available exclusively at Kith for a limited time.

The Runner takes a DIY approach, combining an amalgamation of running footwear elements and applying them to one shoe. The style is reimagined with a one-of-a-kind, handmade vintage look-and-feel as raw cuts, stitches and glue are seen throughout a mesh and leather upper. The updated sole comes from the brand’s iconic Track silhouette and features “Runner” branding on the lateral side. Circling the opening is a row of punched holes, while mesh, nylon, and injection-molded polyurethane are pieced together in a pre worn aesthetic. The sole highlights Balenciaga’s focus on comfort and technology. A pull tab is seen at the heel while the tongue features the classic Balenciaga logo. Lastly, each model features custom Kith and Balenciaga-branded dubraes that denote the 650-limited edition number.

Balenciaga Runner Release Date

Look for the Balenciaga Runner to release on July 16th exclusively at all Kith shops and Kith.com at 11AM EST as well as on EU.Kith.com. The retail price tag is set at $1,090 USD each.
