Bad Bunny and adidas are growing the BadBo lineup with two releases that take the series in different directions. The BadBo 1.0 is back in a blue-heavy “Night Navy” colorway, while the BadBo 1.1 arrives for the first time with a lower build and a “Chalk White” finish.

Puerto Rico’s night sky is behind the colors used on the BadBo 1.0 “Night Navy.” Light blue nylon sits underneath the layered upper and can be seen through the triangular cutouts on the sides. Darker indigo and navy suede cover much of the rest of the shoe, with beige laces and a matching midsole breaking up the blue. Bad Bunny’s zig-zag stitching returns on the tongue, and a six-point star inspired by the Puerto Rican flag is worked into the heel.

The BadBo 1.1 “Chalk White” takes the original design and cuts it down into a lower shape. Its padded mid-cut interior is gone, and the layered panels have been adjusted to fit the new profile. adidas also moved the Trefoil to the center of the heel instead of keeping the off-center placement used on the BadBo 1.0.

A T-toe is another noticeable change on the BadBo 1.1, replacing the smoother toe found on the first model. Combined with the thicker proportions, it gives the shoe some of the look of skate footwear from the 1990s. Select skate shops will also carry the pair, marking the first time the Bad Bunny and adidas partnership has included those stores in a release.
