adidas Originals and NYC streetwear mainstay Avirex join forces once again to reinterpret the AVIREX x adidas Superstar.

The collaboration will also see a limited edition leather jacket and tee – blatant homages to Avirex’s hay day of hip-hop high couture. Yup, this is the type of cross-over shoe culture has been waiting for.

Featuring Avirex’s signature leather treatment, the Superstar sneaker updates the silhouette in a nostalgic yet forward looking way; bringing adidas’ sports DNA and Avirex’s dominance of the street to a fresh collaboration, capturing New York’s essence of colliding musical influences, sport and style.

Joey Bada$$ and model MJ lead the campaign, oozing authenticity and a creative renaissance as both models and brands demonstrate they still know how to push culture forward.

The AVIREX x adidas Superstar will be available on October 20th priced at $180, at the adidas Originals Flagship Store in NYC exclusively. A special pop-up store at 395 Broome Street will launch the release on October 17.
