AVAVAV’s adidas Megaride doesn’t feel like an evolution of the trainer as much as it does an intentional deconstruction of the silhouette’s typical aesthetic. Two colorways have been confirmed for the AVAVAV x adidas Megaride, set to release May 22, 2026. Retail price and availability have yet to be released.

Distressed suede alters the entire language of the shoe. Laid over translucent mesh quite loosely, the material gives the Megaride a softer, more deflated silhouette. Toggle laces, metal eyelets, and co-branded tongues provide function-first touches, but overall the design remains relatively minimal for such a technical silhouette.

Black and grey tones anchor the first colorway, made up of dark mesh, weathered suede, and black plated accents. Red shines on the second colorway, leaning into the gradient treatment across black mesh for the more aggressive look of the two.

Neither upper alters the segmented sole design, which remains consistent between pairs. The hollow pods keep the chunky, industrial spirit of the Megaride alive, contrasting the tattered suede and laidback mesh up top.

The AVAVAV x adidas Megaride will release on May 22, 2026. Prices have yet to be revealed.
