The green pony hair on atmos’ 2020 adidas ZX8000 won’t be returning for this release. Instead, the retailer went with the model’s usual mesh upper for its latest “G-SNK Chlorophyll,” keeping the green color scheme and glow-in-the-dark snakeskin that connect the two versions.

Chlorophyll leather overlays carry the snakeskin pattern across the upper, while mesh replaces the fuzzy material used six years ago. Anyone familiar with the earlier pair will recognize the look, but the change in materials gives this version a more traditional ZX8000 construction.

The G-SNK series dates back to 2011, when atmos put glowing snakeskin on a ZX8000 in the original “Aqua” colorway. It has covered quite a few adidas models since then, including the Superstar, NMD_R1, and EVO SL. The ZX8000 has remained part of that lineup, and this release revisits an older atmos design without bringing it back exactly as it was.

The atmos x adidas ZX8000 “G-SNK Chlorophyll” releases on November 5, 2026, through atmos. The raffle is open on the atmos Tokyo website ahead of the launch.
