ASICS continues to transition the retro runner into more modern territory with the GT-2160 “Restful Teal”.

This isn’t the chunky silhouette’s first mesh edition, but the glossy patent leather overlays on this iteration are an instant upgrade in the performance-born silhouette.

Sporting a full “Blue Teal” midsole for continuity and abandoning the traditionally rounded laces in favor of flat pairings, it’s that type of nuance you really pick up on while stacking the models next to each other.

The ASICS GT-2160 “Restful Teal” is available now for $140 through ASICS.com and select retailers.

The 2160 has gradually found more attention in recent years from a handful of reinterpretations and this is undeniably one of the cleanest yet.
