Hender Scheme’s Vegetable Tanned leather sneakers have started a bit of a craze, and following its success is this special edition ASICS Gel Lyte III “Vegetable Tanned Leather” edition.

This ASICS Gel Lyte III features a full leather construction covering the entire upper to give the shoe a natural patina through wear time. Instead of going with a wooden sole like previous Hender Scheme Air Jordan 4 designs, these ASICS sit atop its original Gel cushioning.

The ASICS Gel Lyte III “Vegetable Tanned Leather” is a “Made in Japan” built that’s limited to just 300 pairs worldwide. The retail price tag is set at a premium $500 USD.
