There’s an insulated slipper tucked inside the Arc’teryx Postour Boot that you can leave on when the outer boot comes off. The waterproof shell handles the snow, while the removable slipper has its own outsole for walking around camp.

Coreloft insulation is used in both parts, with GORE-TEX waterproofing in the outer boot to help keep feet dry. The shell extends up the calf, and the collar cinches around the leg to help stop snow from getting inside. A debossed skeletal Arc’teryx logo appears on the lateral side.

Underfoot, the outer boot gets a Vibram Arctic Grip outsole for traction on winter surfaces. The removable slipper has a lower cut and its own insulated construction, giving you something less bulky to wear when the full boot is no longer needed. There’s no need to pull off both layers just to get comfortable around camp.

Black and Tatsu/Black make up the initial color options for the Arc’teryx Postour Boot. Both are available through the Arc’teryx website for $380.
