Anthony Edwards has another adidas Superstar on the way, this time using metallic gold across the upper with a few tweaks made to the usual Superstar look.

Gold leather covers most of the upper, including the eyestays, while an off-white shade takes over the Three Stripes, tongue, collar, and heel tab. Bright yellow laces cut across the gold and give the shoe a much louder contrast than the rest of the colorway. The midsole and outsole stay off-white to match the lighter details up top.

Edwards’ Superstar also skips the traditional ridged shell toe. A smooth rubber toe cap takes its place, finished with his signature logo pressed into the surface. The same mark appears in gold on the heel, while standard adidas branding is kept on the tongue. Underfoot, the Superstar’s familiar herringbone traction pattern remains intact.

The Anthony Edwards x adidas Superstar “Metallic Gold” is expected to release in adult and grade school sizes during Fall/Winter 2026. A release date has yet to be announced.
