Anthony Edwards is spending part of his offseason in the Philippines, where his “Believe That” Tour made a stop in Manila. Along with connecting with local basketball fans and working with young players, the Timberwolves star also gave everyone an early look at his next signature shoe.

During an on-court workout, Edwards was spotted wearing the upcoming adidas AE 3 in its “Bliss Blue” colorway. It marks one of the clearest looks yet at the third model in his signature line ahead of its retail debut.

The AE 3 carries over some familiar ideas from the first two models while pushing the design in a different direction. A triangular shape around the toe helps tie it back to the AE 1 and AE 2, while arrow-like graphics run across the upper from heel to toe. The Bliss Blue finish also uses shifting shades across the shoe, giving the design more depth while Edwards is moving on court.

With the NBA season getting closer, the Manila appearance gives adidas an early opportunity to put the AE 3 on Anthony Edwards himself before the official launch.
