The Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold” will be making a return on May 17th. But before the release goes down, we were able to check out this “Alternate” pair of the popular colorway.

Unlike the original, this Nike Air Max 97 sports a Black upper with Metallic Gold covering the lower-half of the shoe. It also includes a matching Gold midsole with signature Red accents atop a two-tone Black and White rubber outsole.
Currently this Alternate Nike Air Max 97 is just a sample, so don’t expect these to hit retail stores anytime soon. But if they did, would you cop?
