FILA has teamed up with streetwear label Akomplice to release a heritage-inspired collaboration by reworking the classic Original Fitness silhouette. Paying homage to Yucatan, where Akomplice co-founder Patrick Liberty calls the town of Akumal home draws inspiration for the shoe’s design.

Built with a Light Brown upper that symbolizes the sand and limestone of which the region was founded, along with Light Green on the insole, tongue tag and heel that represents the Caribbean Sea’s open waters. The Purple accents is a nod to the ocean coral and fruit produced by the tropical climate.
