The Air Jordan 8 “OVO” will be the newest “OVO” Air Jordan silhouette from Drake and Jordan Brand that is set to release later this year.
First reported by DJ Folk, as we have yet to see a first look of the shoe, but he claims that they’ll be spotted at Drake’s OVO Fest in Toronto this weekend.
Expected to have two versions, a Black and White pair staying traditional to his OVO Air Jordan 10, and Air Jordan 12. Both pairs will come complete with OVO logos on the heel and insole.
As of right now there is still little information regarding the Drake x Air Jordan 8 “OVO” release, as DJ Folk is claiming them to be a Friends and Family release. But like Drake’s first two Air Jordan “OVO” silhouettes that have been claimed to be Friends and Family only release, they both ended up becoming available after all.
Stay tuned to Sneaker Bar for further release information as it develops. How many of you are looking forward to seeing what the Air Jordan 8 “OVO” will look like?
UPDATE: Drake has just given us a first look at both his Air Jordan 8 “OVO” colorways, the White and Black pairs. Both shoes are built with a tumbled leather upper, OVO Gold detailing, the Owl logo on the pull-tabs, Red Jumpman tongues and custom detailing underneath the cross-strap that reads, “6IX Years.” Check out the images below and stay tuned to Sneaker Bar for more updates.
UPDATE: Drake took the stage at his OVO Fest rocking both of his Air Jordan 8 “OVO” colorways. One pair is fully dressed in all-Black and the other as expected is done in all-White.
