Two of the overlooked original Air Jordan 6 releases from 1991 are both the “Sport Blue” and “Maroon” colorways.
The Air Jordan 6 “Sport Blue” didn’t see its first retro release until 2014. The shoe features an all-White smooth and perforated leather upper with the Jumpman logo on the shoe’s signature rubber tongue and lace overlay, as well as on the heel section. An icy translucent outsole completed the design.
The Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” also saw its first retro release back in 2015 as part of the brand’s holiday lineup. This special release also marked the first time original “Nike Air” branding was found on the heel of the Air Jordan 6 since the retros from the year 2000. It features a simple White leather base with Maroon contrasting accents atop an icy translucent outsole.
