UPDATE 2/17/26: The Air Jordan 6 “Light Aqua” is no longer expected to release as part of Jordan Brand’s 2026 lineup. Originally rumored as a bold, aqua-based update to the classic 1991 silhouette, the pair was expected to feature nubuck construction with black and metallic accents.
While the release has reportedly been canceled, the Air Jordan 6 remains a key part of Jordan Brand’s ongoing retro rotation. If the “Light Aqua” concept returns in the future, updates will follow.
Original 10/30/25:
Jordan Brand is giving fans another reason to celebrate with the Air Jordan 6 “Light Aqua”, arriving Fall 2026. This new colorway adds a fresh twist to the classic silhouette that helped Michael Jordan secure his first NBA Championship in 1991.
While some might see hints of the coveted Tiffany hue, this isn’t a collaboration — it’s Jordan Brand’s own take on luxury-inspired tones. Early mockups show a Light Aqua suede upper with Black and Grey accents. The colorway is crisp, yet well balanced and should stand out on and off the court. The translucent outsole and visible Air unit are both AJ6 signatures.
2026 marks the 35th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 6, so it’s no surprise the model is getting special treatment. Alongside the “Light Aqua,” reports suggest the return of the “White Infrared” and debut of a “Reverse Infrared” edition, making next year a standout for AJ6 collectors.

The Air Jordan 6 “Light Aqua” was originally expected to release on August 29, 2025 for $215 USD. The release is no longer moving forward, as the pair has reportedly been canceled.
