When the Air Jordan 5 Retro “White Grape” returned in early May, sneakerheads rejoiced at the opportunity to grab one of Jordan Brand’s most sought after colorways. Now the famous “Grape” colorway returns again this Saturday, June 15th – in black. The Air Jordan 5 “Backout” sports the exact color blocking as the original, but uses black nubuck for the upper. Grape ice purple is featured prominently while new emerald provides the great contrast that makes this colorway a classic. In partnership with mall management, SELECT Foot Locker stores will implement a sweepstakes ticket procedure* in order to purchase the Air Jordan 5 Retro “Black Grape” (on sale 6/15/13 for $160 Men’s). The sweepstakes ticket procedures will begin Wednesday, June 12th and end on Thursday, June 13th. If your ticket number is selected, you will be notified by phone on Friday, June 14th. These procedures are for SELECT STORES only. To find out which store near you will carry the shoe and if that store will implement the sweepstakes ticket procedure, please visit the Foot Locker “Launch Locator” here. This release will also be available to purchase in Kids Grade School sizes for $115. Both men’s and kids sizes will also be available online on Footlocker.com starting at 8:00 a.m. EST this Saturday, June 15th.
