A retro classic, the Air Jordan 5 “Laney” originally released in 2000 as a tribute to Emsley A. Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina. Michael Jordan attended the school from 1977 to 1981 before his three-year stint at UNC.

Dressed in a White, Varsity Maize, Varsity Royal, and Black color scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 5 features a White leather upper highlighted with the school’s Blue and Yellow accents along with “23” stitching. After a strong demand, the colorway returned in late 2013 (shown here).
