Air Jordan 5 “Fab Five” Selling for $15,000

The Air Jordan 5 Fab Five was designed by Tinker Hatfield to commemorate one of the most unforgettable college basketball teams in history during the ’90s, the Michigan Wolverines. The Fab 5 roster included Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson.

Dressed for swagger, this Air Jordan 5 was built with a Maize Yellow suede upper resting atop a Black midsole with Maize speckling. Contrasting Black accents also appear on the lacelock and tongue, which is highlighted with an embroidered “M” logo. Each inside tongue displays special nods to the nostalgic team with “Hail To” and “The Victors” stitched respectively on the left and right tongues. Finishing off the design, there is a graphic logo on the heels created by Hatfield that represents the “five times” sign that the team occasionally used during their time at the school.

Released only to friends and family members of Jordan Brand, those that have deep pockets can find the Air Jordan 5 “Fab 5” available for $15,000 USD via Flight Club.
