The Air Jordan 40 gets a classic “Chicago” makeover, and it leans heavy into Jordan Brand’s most iconic DNA. White leather sets the stage, broken up by black details and those familiar Varsity Red accents. The Sail midsole adds a slightly aged feel, the kind that reminds you of worn-in classics from the past.

Here’s the real headline: for the first time ever, a flagship Air Jordan gets stamped with the Nike Swoosh. That’s paired with the Wings logo, giving the shoe a mix of old-school heritage and something brand new.

Underfoot, Jordan Brand introduces ZoomX cushioning — light, responsive, and built for performance. The outsole combines cream and red zones with a sharp black heel piece. It’s technical, but it also looks futuristic in a way that feels different from previous Jordan models.

The Air Jordan 40 “Chicago” will release on November 1, 2025 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $205 USD.
