Air Jordan 3 Retro “Wolf Grey” Video Review

Today we went to NoJo Kicks, in downtown Detroit, to do our video review of the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Wolf Grey” colorway. This shoe is set to release at local Jordan Brand retailers this Saturday, July 19th.

At first glance I was immediately impressed with how this sneaker turned out. The first thing I noticed was the black elephant print and how it contrasted with the hits of metallic silver, especially in the light. I have to say Jordan Brand deserves a round of applause for this newest incarnation of the retro 3. Let’s face it, minus the elephant print there’s not much going on as far as design on the retro 3 but with precision color blocking they’ve managed to take simple, basic colors and add new life to this signature shoe.

They’ve built upon the original elements people loved about the Air Jordan 3 while adding some twists, most notably the outsole. The quality of the shoe is superb. The tumbled leather and nubuck especially are in fine form on this shoe and both came out beautifully. There’s definitely more right than wrong going for this shoe and to be honest I’m having a hard time finding the “wrong” if there even is one.

Take a look for yourself and tell us what you think. There’s doesn’t seem to be much hype around this shoe so they should be relatively easy to pick up. But who are we kidding? They’re Air Jordan’s, of course they’ll sell out. Let us know if you plan on picking up a pair of Air Jordan 3 Retro “Wolf Grey” this Saturday. I’ll see you in line…
