Kobe Bryant was a sneaker free agent during the 2002-2003 NBA season. During this time, Jordan Brand gifted Kobe with exclusive designs, which included the Air Jordan 3 “Kobe” PE.

This special edition Air Jordan 3 took the iconic “White Cement” Air Jordan 3 color blocking and customized it for Kobe with Purple and Yellow accents. Part of the Kobe Jordan Pack, alongside an Air Jordan 8 PE, these were never released to the public and only gift to friends and family.

During All-Star Weekend that season, Kobe Bryant broke out another Air Jordan 3, but this time it was original “True Blue” colorway to match the Red, White, and Blue uniforms.
