Sneaker Talk: Air Jordan 16 Low “Black/Metallic Silver”

The Air Jordan 16 Low “Black/Metallic Silver” were released on September 29th, 2001, and retailed for $135 USD.

This low-top version of the Air Jordan 16 came dressed in a simple Black and Metallic Silver color scheme. The shoe features an all-Black leather base with minor perforations along the side panels for added ventilation. Other details include fold over flaps around the ankle collar for an added touch.

Even though there isn’t really any major eye-catching accents included in this colorway, they still were a pretty nice release back in 2001.

While we wait for Jordan Brand to officially bring back some classic Air Jordan 16 releases, should they consider re-releasing these? Check out the images below and leave your feedback in the comments section.
