Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” Returns Summer 2027

The Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” is expected to make another return in Summer 2027, bringing one of Michael Jordan’s most memorable on-court sneakers back into the spotlight.

Few Air Jordans are tied to a moment the way this pair is. The black-and-red Air Jordan 14 became part of basketball history during Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals, when Jordan hit his famous jumper over Bryon Russell to seal the Chicago Bulls’ sixth championship. At the time, many believed it would be the final shot of his NBA career, which gave the sneaker its lasting “Last Shot” nickname.

Jordan later returned to the league with the Washington Wizards, but that moment never lost its weight. The image of MJ holding his follow-through in the Air Jordan 14 remains one of the most recognizable scenes in basketball history.

What makes the 2027 release interesting is the timing. The “Last Shot” colorway does not turn 30 until 2028, so this drop does not appear to be tied to a major anniversary. Instead, it feels more like Jordan Brand bringing back one of the Air Jordan 14’s most important colorways while the model continues to gain attention with both longtime fans and newer collectors.
