UPDATE 2/17/26: The Air Jordan 13 Low “He Got Game” is no longer expected to release in 2026. Originally rumored for an April launch, the low-top version has reportedly been canceled, with no official explanation from Jordan Brand.

The pair was set to reinterpret one of the most iconic Air Jordan 13 colorways, inspired by Spike Lee’s 1998 film He Got Game, where Denzel Washington famously wore the silhouette. Early details pointed to a white leather upper with black suede overlays and True Red accents, staying true to the original design language.

While the low-top release has been scrapped, the legacy of the “He Got Game” Air Jordan 13 remains unchanged. If the project returns in the future, updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Jordan Brand is revisiting the legendary “He Got Game” colorway this time on the Air Jordan 13 Low for the very first time, which will release Summer 2026. First debuted back in 1997 as a high-top, the upcoming silhouette updates the original colorway in a low-cut design.

The Air Jordan 13 Low “He Got Game” continues the OG White, Black, and True Red color scheme that made the 1997 release an all-time classic. Expect a base of white tumbled leather uppers with the signature dimples, black suede overlays, and black leather toe box. Red accents will be featured along the outsole, giving the shoe its pop of contrast. A metallic Jumpman logo is on the heel and a red Jumpman is stitched into the tongue.

Coincidentally named after the classic Spike Lee film He Got Game that dropped in 1998 (in which the silhouette was worn by Denzel Washington), this upcoming release is sure to stir up culture as well as new fans.

While we were originally led to believe the upcoming release was a mid-top from early reports, Sneaker Files and zsneakerheadz have confirmed that the low-top is the silhouette expected to drop instead. There were also some rumblings that the colorway may have been swapped for a different one, but this is the colorway we expect from the release at this time.

A shoe strongly rooted in Jordan Brand and basketball film history, the “He Got Game” AJ13 Low will be a mix of nostalgia and new life.
