The Air Jordan 12 Retro “Rising Sun” released on October 24th, 2009 and retailed for $150. The inspiration behind this Air Jordan 12 comes from Japan’s rising sun flag. Featuring a White upper with perforations that creates a rising sun pattern throughout the upper. For color, Red appears on the tongue and heel along with Black hits.

The “Rising Sun” Air Jordan 12 was the first new colorway of its model to debut in 2009. During its launch, the model didn’t receive a huge buzz for sneaker enthusiasts but in todays era if released things would be a bit different.
