Former Utah Jazz ball boy Preston Truman was working during the Game 5 NBA Finals game when MJ dropped 38-points while performing the game we call today, the “Flu Game”. After the game Truman had the courage to ask Mike if he could have his shoes, which MJ autographed the pair and also gave him his pair of socks.

Preston went on to stock them in a safety box for 16 years and just this morning he sold his Air Jordan 12 “Flu Game” game-worn and autographed for $104,765, setting a new record for game-worn shoes. Would you have done the same thing? Sound off in the comments below.
