The Air Jordan 11 debuted as Michael Jordan returned from his first retirement, putting the rest of the league (and the shoe game) on notice. Since then, the shoe has become everyone’s favorite present under the Christmas tree.
Back in December 2017, the Air Jordan 11 “Win Like 96” debuted as a nod to the Chicago Bulls’ record-breaking 72 wins season, which resulted to a fourth NBA title in six seasons. The shoe is dressed in all-Red, honoring the ’96 squad that was unstoppable.
During December 2020, Jordan Brand celebrated the models 25th Anniversary with the debut of the Air Jordan 11 “Jubilee” colorway. Dressed in a Black makeup constructed from a traditional blend of ballistic mesh and patent leather, the shoe is highlighted with 3D Metallic Jumpman and matching “23” branding decorating the heel, while “Jordan” is spelled out in stylized Silver lettering on the eyelets.
